Hennes konst pendlar ofta mellan makro- och mikronivå och kring hur vitt skilda fenomen visuellt överlappar varandra, vilket kommer till uttryck i abstrakta animationer, teckningar, skulpturer och musik. I hennes konst sker det korskopplingar Systema Naturae, Christine Ödlund’s first solo show at CFHILL— and her most extensive gallery show—departs from her allotment, located just south of central Stockholm. More or less by coincidence, the standard-sized plot of land was transferred over to her, complete with pre-existing plants. Christine Ödlund’s first exhibition at Christian Larsen, Thought-Forms, provides insight into an entire universe all of its own. In Christine Ödlund’s world, we sink to a biological-cosmic level that renders well-known perspectives null and void. Christine Ödlund’s range of creative expression covers drawing, painting, video and news: exhibitions: drawings / paintings: video: audio: public art: texts: publications: biography: contact Christine Ödlund (b.1963) lives and works in Stockholm. Her work deals with the ability to transcend language barriers between people and plants and barriers between the invisible and the visible.
